A recent article released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons states that more men are turning to plastic surgery for a better body image and more confidence at any age. Over 1.3 million cosmetic procedures were performed on men in 2017 alone as more men seek to enhance their appearance. Over 100,000 of these were non-invasive filler procedures. Studies show that young men are seeking more procedures to enhance their body image with body contouring, Kybella® injections for the neck, and procedures to enhance their complexion such as laser resurfacing, skin care and Botox®. Older men are considering more minimally invasive procedures such as fillers, Botox® and eyelid surgery.
