Laura is a native Texan. After her nursing degree, she gained experience in Plastic Surgery while also attending workshops and national meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and products. She has been personally trained by Dr. Amato to provide the highest-level treatments to her patients to help them achieve the results they desire. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.
Laura provides a variety of aesthetic treatments including cosmetic Botox, Xeomin, Dysport , Filler Injections, and Sculptra along with our new Microneedling Pixel8 RF treatments.
Ashley Knowles
Practice Administrator
As a Practice Administrator, Ashley brings 15 years of experience in the cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery industry to our patients. Ashley manages the day-to-day functions of the practice for the surgeons and staff. Her greatest priority is to maintain an efficient and enjoyable experience for every patient. Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and her two adorable children.
Irvin Lopez
Lead Medical Assistant
As a medical assistant, Irvin brings 4 years of experience in the cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery field, and 5 years in the Ophthalmology field. Irvin strives to make his patients feel welcome and cared for and will go out of his way to make sure they have a positive experience at our practice. Irvin is very passionate about what he does and enthusiastically offers a proactive approach to delivering exceptional patient care. On his time away from the practice, Irvin loves exploring new restaurants, going for early morning runs in Lake Austin, and spending time with his newborn niece.
Kristin Warren
Surgery Coordinator
Kristin is a 4th generation Texan who has over 18 years’ experience in the Oculoplastic Surgery field. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her vast knowledge of the patient’s experience in the surgery facility and the pre and post operative process is a great attribute to the patient’s success. She loves getting to know her patients and giving them a positive surgery experience. When not in the office, Kristin enjoys listening to live music around town.
Melisa LaBerge
Surgery Coordinator
Melisa brings 15+ years of healthcare experience in management, radiology imaging, breast oncology, family practice, gastroenterology, pediatrics, and ophthalmology. Melisa takes pride in caring for patients as if they were her own family. She loves to engage and get to know the patients she meets in person or on the phone. Melisa is patient and very compassionate about her position. She strives to make each person smile daily with a silly story or just a great laugh. Melisa believes there is always a reason to smile, you just must find it. Outside of work Melisa enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and her 2 grandkids enjoying the outdoors, playing games, listening to live music or taking family vacations to new places.

Victor is a Dedicated Front Office Specialist and Prior Authorization Specialist with over 7 years’ experience in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering outstanding customer service. Drawing from 5 years of disciplined service in the United States Marine Corps, he brings a strong team-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence. Known for his strong work ethic and fairness, he excels in creating a welcoming environment while empowering his colleagues to succeed. Outside the office, he cherishes spending quality time with his daughter and family, whether it’s playing tennis, riding bikes, or enjoying long walks with their dog, Rusty. “Let’s connect and create value together!”

When she is not in the office, she dives into her studies in Health Informatics and Information Management, eager to learn how to better manage patient care. This blend of hands-on experience and new knowledge helps her create a more caring and efficient environment for everyone she helps.

Gail joins the Clinic with 15 years of experience in the Medical field. She worked in Pediatric Health Care for 8 years before switching to Plastic Surgery. She was with a Plastic Surgery Group in Bellevue Washington for 5 years before moving to Austin Texas. She has a comprehensive understanding of Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Injectables, and Dermatology Procedures. She is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, safety, comfort, and quality of life. She is fulfilled in life by helping others. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her Husband and 2 Daughters.
